I keep installing the CD for the printer, but it is now showing up on the control panel. and I can't print

Remove the printer (physically, cable) from the pc. Uninstall the software by using the "Add/Remove Programs" Control Panel utility. Reboot. Install the software for the device. Connect the device to your pc verifying a good connection is made and power is supplied.

I have this problem with my HP as well. Turn your printer off for a few minutes then back on. Try printing again, if the same thing happens you will need to uninstall the printer software and reinstall it. You will do this by going to start, control panel, change or remove programs and a list will generate. In this list look for your hp printer to be listed, highlight it and click remove. Once it is removed you will need to reinstall, do this by either placing your cd in and following the steps or if you dont have your cd, log onto www.hp.com and click drivers and downloads, select your model or if your printer is plugged in it will auto detect for you. download and install and attempt to print again, this should work.

I have installed my lexmark printer but when i try to print the computer says unknown device detected


You go your control panel and select your printer icon Double click this icon. Left side have (Add Printer) option & than add your printer. Or go to you control panel just click add hardware icon, after you select your printer icon & after your Printer model. After you show your CD device.

remove driver from control panel,disconnect USB restart pc insert cd ,install again ,when pc wants to connect copier,do this and wait to complete.your cassete size must be same as your print size

Printer will not print, please help


Have you tried printing from within the Printing software for the printer in control panel? Click on "Print test page" and see if it will print. If not, go to the color management tab and check that it shows enough ink in each color. If there is one that is too low or has a yellow yield sign on it, it won't print and you will need to reinstall that ink after you verify that it has enough of that color. Make you you installed the CD first before you connect the printer or it won't install correctly. If you did that you will need to uninstall and reinstall again after restarting each time.

The most common reason for this type of printer problem is either the windows based driver or the installed HP driver. uninstall the printer from control panel/add remove printers, physically remove the printer from the pc, reboot the pc and then re-connect the printer. Windows should start the "new device" wizard and auto install the printer. If this does not work remove the printer, reboot the pc and then install the software from the HP cd, do not connect the printer until told to do so by the software. One of these methods has always worked for me. Good luck

01.Try to install the catridge properly once again after rebooting the Desktop / Laptop along with this Printer.
02. Check through CONTROL PANEL whether this particular HP laserjet 5000 printer is showing in the printer menu.
03. If is there, try to remove offline and make online.
04. If this HP Laserjet not available in the Printer menu, please insert the Printer driver cd and install this printer.
05. Try to ensure your desktop or laptop not affected with Virus. There might be a change, if the machine is virus affected, Printer offline problem will be shown.

Epson Stylus C67 keeps printing blank pages


The symptoms infer that the problem is with the computer (printing from an application) rather than the printer (prints OK when the computer is not involved). The best way out of this is to uninstall the printer (start-control panel-uninstall software-epson software). But before you do this double-click the printer icon in the printer list (start-control panel-printers & faxes) and cancel all print jobs in the list (if there are any). Then uninstall the printer Then reboot the computer. Make sure your printer is connected to the computer BUT TURNED OFF. Then insert your printer installation CD and re-install the printer. Turn on the printer when prompted. All should then be well.

Lexmark Z11 won't work


Remove the software for the printer through ad remove programs in control panel

Then keep unit unplugged from usb. Install the device drivers then plug unit in when software asks or after it requests a reboot.

My printer is not printing paper is going through but nothing showing up


Hi,

Did you check if the printer is properly connected to your computer? Please check also if the correct printer driver is installed.

You may check also your printer setting in control panel.

1. go to start then control panel.
2. Click on Classic view on the left side then look for printer icon.
3. Verify if your printer is installed. if not, insert the cd that came with your printer and install.

In case it doesn't work, let me know the type of printer you have as well as the printer model.
