Hi jseley,

In order to get your Cannon Multipass F60 printer ready to work in Windows Vista, you should install this patch--. it will correct the driver

http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=StandardDisplayAct&fcategoryid=205&keycode=tech_files

You should delete the old drivers first

Hope this helps!

Your printer is not supported by windows vista, you can try some generic drivers... it should install automatically.
But official support ends at Windows Xp.
Seems you will have to get another printer. I will look into getting some generic drivers that might solve the problem hold on..
Heres the canon page which only has drivers and software up to windows xp http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=124&modelid=7174#DownloadDetailAct

Il check  and get back to you.

I am trying to get my Canon Multipass F60 to work with my new computer...HP w/ windows 7...any answers? I really need a driver!

I've checked and you can't. Canon don not spport Win7 with this printer so you will have to replace it.

You should also check any other periferals you have using the Win7 compatability wizard available from Microsoft.

Cannon multipass F60 scanner/printer striped color printing

What you have is a dried up color cartridge. You can try to use the <clean print heads> in the diagnostic tools section of you priner software. (usually, just try to print something & the window will appear) Sometimes you have to clean heads, then print test page like 2 or 3 times before it clears up. If that doesn't correct it, don't worry. Have your color cartridge filled (staples, office depot, & other stores do it cheap) - or - replace it with a new cartridge. You may have to run the clean print heads program after installing a new cartridge, but this will definitely fix your problem.

Is the canon multipass f60 compatible with windows vista (on an hp laptop)?

Canon does not offer Vista drivers for the MultiPass F60. Vista may have some generic drivers that will work, so don't delete or over-ride them in the system.

The major problem is that the printer only supports USB 1.1 and not USB 2.0

Canon does not offer Vista drivers for this printer. Vista may support it through generic drivers. Plug it in a see. Do not try to install outside drivers.

Try doing a system restore from a date prior to when you installed the drivers.
