  3. Make sure the TV, DVD player and Amplifier volume are not set to Mute.
  4. There will be no sound output during Reverse Play / Pause / Step / Slow / Search.

Hi, I have a problem finding a code for my motorola DCX3200 with my universal remote control(cox.) All the other televisions in the house worked, but I can't get this one to respond at all. I have an LCD...

Here is the user guide for the Motorola DCX3200 in PDF format just in case you need it.

Now then here are some Codes for your Cox Universal remote. I understand you have tried some already but just in case you missed any.

Samsung 0060, 0030, 0178, 0019, 0056, 0032

Also give this a try.
  1. Turn on the TV, VCR, DVD, or entertainment center that you want the remote control to control.
  2. On the remote control, press the appropriate mode button for the device once.
    Television TV
    Stereo amplifier or receiver AUX
    DVD, PVR, VCR DVD
  3. Press and hold the SETUP button until the selected mode button blinks twice, then release the SETUP button.
  4. Using the number keys, enter 9 - 9 - 1.

Result: The selected mode button blinks twice.
  5. Aim the remote control at the device, and then press the POWER button once.
  6. Press the CH+ (or CH-) button one or more times until the device turns off.

    Notes:

In search mode, the remote control sends IR codes from its library to the selected device, starting with the most popular code first.
If, while pressing the CH+ button, you inadvertently pass the code, press the CH- button one or more times until the TV turns on.
  7. Press the SETUP button once to lock in the code.

Result: The selected mode button blinks twice.
  8. To search for codes for other devices, repeat steps 1 through 7.
Hope this helps, give me thumbs please!

Remote stopped working

Hey!

I have found when you are not able to control devices, a firmware update will sometimes fix the issue. If you do not know how to do a firmware update, please look at the following link:

http://logitech-en-emea.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/logitech_en_emea.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=10747

If the firmware update does not work, you may have to learn the power commands from the original remotes. The following link shows how this is done:

http://logitech-en-emea.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/logitech_en_emea.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=9603

I hope this helps!!!

I have a logitech 890. The remote only turns the tv on and off but nothing else.

this remote has a help button to resolve setup issues. you should see a message on the screen ask ing if you need help. If not this function can be activated using the setup software. Try using the remote to watch TV. Then press the help button(be sure to have the remote pointed at the TV). The remote will attempt to fix itself. the screen will then ask if that fixed the problem-choose yes or no. Continue to follow the prompts until everything is the way you want it.
This should get everything working for you. I assume you did connect the remote to your computer and went through the setup software.
I use this remote and I love it. Just be sure when using it to give time for it to send commands to all the devices.
