My laptop toshiba tecra t2300 screen goes on/off automatically when i am working on it here is also bettry problem which says consider replacing your battery screen goes black or becomes off plz help me

Try and take out battery. Then run the laptop on the power supply only and if it does it again then your computer might need to be serviced before the motherboard dies because the Graphics processing unit is overheating. Common problem on laptops!! Thanks Igor!

Black screen with flashing cursor

It may be because of your hard disk damage or OS problem. Try to install a fresh copy of XP from a cd. boot from XP cd and install .

Laptop monitor goes black

If you're working on the computer when that happens, it's not probably a power setting. Try to update your BIOS to the most current version at the toshiba support website (support.toshiba.com) & see what happens. Fixes the issue most of the time

I hope this helps.
