Question about Casio QV-R51 Digital Camera
I recently went for an outing and used my casio QV-R51 camera. I was doing excellent. Suddenly i found the pictures coming with over brightness and also with horizontal lines. The pictures are still coming fine in the dark with the flash on . So obviously it has something to do with background light and exposure. When i went to a casio authorized repair centre in Hyderabad in India, he says i have to replace the entire CCD lens and shutter mechanism costing Rs.7000 ($125.00). With the present camera prices it did not sound a good proposition. Can anyone tell me what the problem could be and how to get it fixed. I will be very thankful jagadisan
If the camera is giving good results indoors then there are less possiblities of damaged CCD. the problem can be with the apparture control system that it is not controlling the iiris in bright light. it should go high in high light and low indoors. it is fixed on low may be due to mechanical friction or the malfanctioning of the control circuit. try contacting other camera repairer then ASC of Casio
