Check spark plugs.
with the engine running (idle)
disconnect one spark plug cable,
see if your engine goes at lower speed or notice engine speed variation.
if it does, the spark plug is OK. it no change, the spark plug is bad.
reconnect the first one then disconnect the next plug.
do this untill at the last spark plug connection.

I have a 99 nissan with the same exact symptoms!!! I was first told knock sensor, replaced that no change! Next told spark plugs, just like you said, replaced all six of them and again no change! I'm now on too checking all the injectors and then onto map sensor and so on... But I've been all over very car/truck site I can find or that is in english and still can't find an answer or solution! Not even a good direction to go from here... Just wanted to put that out there.

The shift handle has a plastic bushing and metallic locks that holds it firmly and allow you shift the gears smoothly, so when this bushing or the has warned out, so the shift handle will develop a lot of slop, you may need to consider replacing it that kit.

Code for misfire cyl 4. replaced wires, plugs, distributor cap and rotor. at speed of 40 mph check engine light flashes and when decelerate at times will flash also.

When your check engine light flashes, it means there is a serious problem. When you tested the code, is that when you got the misfire code?

Nissan Frontier 02 ABS LIGHT AND BAD SHAKE ON HIGHWAY Wheels are all balanced, brakes, rotors are replaced now. It will be running smooth on highway, but at varying times, highway speeds, it will start...

i would start with checking the axles because most of them have a abs ring on them which will trigger the abs light. also make sure your axles are in good shape. last resort would be that you need new tires because the steel bands inside are starting to seperate. good luck
