Question about Canon ZR300 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
Recently my cam has started to show a large gray square that covers 3/4 of the screen. I can see only a sliver of the taped movie. It also has no sound. I made sure the battery was charged and I used a new tape. When I download the tape, it too has the gray square.
Sorry if it sounded rude...I apologise.
I have been getting automail offering an ugrade to resolve my issue ever since I posted. spam offers are getting out of hand. I appreciate your trying to help.

This is probably a lens or recording problem you'll need to take it in to a electronics store and see what they can do, My prediction is that the lens is cracked, or fractured in some way, which is only allowing that sliver to come through the good part. it could also bee a recording issue with the software in which case, you'll need to send it to where it came from, and get a new one.
hope this helped- snowsurfer58
