This sounds more like your software settings. Right click on your internet explore desktop icon. Click on properties, than click on accesibility. Select the check box telling your browser to ignore web site font control and size. You can also set your font size for all web pages under the font button in your browsers properties.

How do you delete old email 'address'es in my computer file

Which email account ?

Erase Email Addresses in My Computer

Email addresses can be stored on a computer if you use email software, such as Microsoft Office Outlook and Yahoo Messenger Beta.

Deleting email addresses manually from these programs does not actually completely erase them from your computer.

To erase email addresses permanently, meaning that a hard drive recovery program will not be able to restore them if it is used, requires a process called formatting, which completely erases the information on a hard drive.

Click on the shortcut "My Computer," which you can locate on your desktop.

Right click "Local Disk (C:)" and select the "Format" option.

Change the "Allocation Size Unit" to "Default Allocation Size."

Click the "Start" button.

The email addresses, as well as the rest of the files on the hard drive, will now be erased.

Delete a Live Mail Email Address

Windows Live Mail is a part of the Windows Live suite of productivity and entertainment programs, and it is intended to be the new free email client for Windows beginning with Windows 7.

After trying Windows Live Mail, you may decide that you have added too many email addresses and that you would prefer to use the email client to check only one address.

Remove an email address from Windows Live Mail to reduce the clutter in your email inbox.
Launch Windows Live Mail, and browse to the "Tools" menu at the top of the screen.

Click "Accounts."

Click the email account that you would like to delete.

Click the "Remove" button.

A message will appear to remind you that any messages belonging to the email account that are not backed up in another location will be deleted permanently.

Click "OK" to confirm.

The account will be deleted immediately.

Click "Close" to return to Windows Live Mail.

Delete Hotmail Adresses

Log in to your hotmail account and click "Help."

Search for "Cancel Account" and select "Why are all my email messages gone?"

Expand the option that says "Close a free Hotmail account" and click "Windows Live Hotmail close account."

Click "Close Account" on the page that opens.

If you do not sign in to your account for 365 days, your account will also be deleted.

Hope this helps.

Not sure if you help with software problems but its worth a try. I recently updated from office 1997 to office 2003 student/teacher edition. I need to do extensive edit to many old Word documents by...

If you are a Word 2003 user, but some of your colleagues are still using Word 2002 or even Word 97, you can share your documents with them as long as you save them in the standard Word document format. By having Word 2003 save your documents in this format, you can disable features not supported by the earlier versions and allow users to open your documents on their PCs.
If you don't want to do this every time you save a document, you can have Word automatically save your new documents in the correct format. Follow these steps:
  1. Go to Tools | Options.
  2. Click the Save tab.
  3. Under Default Format, click the drop-down arrow in the Save Word Files As box and select Word 97-2003 Document(*.doc).
  4. Click OK.
When you save your Word 2003 document, you will get a dialog box warning that some of the features that you used may not be available in the earlier versions. Click Yes to save it in the standard format that you'll share with the other users.

You can get a new email from www.gmail.com sign up for a email, and write the details down, hotmail is unlikely to give your account back without spending alot of effort on it...
so I would personally suggest opening a new account at www.gmail.com and write the details down and you should do great over there.

When I send a copy of my resume to anyone I get emails saying they cant open them why is this and what can I do to change the formatting

There is a possibility that they don't have the same kind of program that you do. If you have Word 2007, and you're saving it in the xdoc format then they won't be able to open it using any other version of Word. I'd suggest saving it in RTF format if at all possible to maintain the highest overall level of compatibility.
