Seriously if you would be willing to learn Linux your problem would be solved. I have been using Linux for almost 9 years and I can play any type of DVD. Mostly through Kaffeine, which is Linux only. Or, Mplayer which you can get for windows. Otherwise my linux only players work. You gotta consider with windows they are going to do their best to keep things legal so as to Not annoy Hollyweird. This is my opinion. Maybe someone has a windows-type work-around.

I would like a manual which explains how to put music on my Mplayer. What programmes do I need on my computer, how to get them, and step by step instructions on how to use them. I just got this little...

Download "iriverplus3" from internet. Free, from www.iriver.com. None of my music files on my computer were compatible, so I had to put all my music back on again, but this time using the "iriverplus3" programme. Once this is done, it's easy to transfer the music to the Mickey Mouse Mplayer. "iriverplus3" tells you how.

Iriver mickey mplayer got reformat and it doesnt work anymore

Also the problem is solved by this: 1. Format in Fat by windows, don't use any name for the Mplayer 2. Use programe "Hard disk low level format tool" to format your mplayer (link http://hddguru.com/download/software/HDDGURU-Low-Level-Format-Tool/LLFsetup.2.21.1108.exe) 3. Enjoy working Mikkey! killerunity@mail.ru

Got video clips on camera, but can't view them on my pc?

The format (codec) of the clips is not compatible with the available codecs on your PC. Assuming you have windows 2000/XP/vista you can download codec packs from :

http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm

or alternatively I would recommend down loading a program called mplayer - which is a media player application with the codecs built in to it. you can grab it from :

http://www8.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/win32/MPlayer-1.0rc2-gui.zip
