Question about Samsung SGH-t629 Cellular Phone
I like the phone, but this is MY SECOND ONE....
first of all, the keys started acting crazy.. for example if I pressed numbers 5-9 they didn't work, and sometimes the arrows don't work properly: pressing down actually goes up, and up still goes up, but left and right doesn't do anything. What is up with that? As if that wasn't annoying enough, it now fails to connect to any network, and is constantly searching for a network. I know I have reception, because once I put my SIM card in my old phone, I get full bars! What is going on? It doesn't seem like anyone has that problem.. but is there anyone with something similar?
Did you ever get the phone wet at all? i got a few drops of water on my keypad once and the keys started acting crazy like yours...if thats the second phone that youve had like that and its still going crazy...id go with a different phone. some phones just have a defect and always will. but try taking the battery out for a minute...then boot it up and see if it works....but if the phone is defective still....call your service provider and they should be able to send you a new one free of charge if the problem isnt your fault. at&t sent me 3 new ones because i kept having problems with the same phone each time they sent me a new one. crazy phones. hope this helps!
