Water in Lower Unit. Noticed when changing lower unit lube. 25 HP 4 stroke 5 years old.

I have purchased a Aluratek digital photo frame, and it will not turn on

Okay, so you said it was formatting. Was this an internal memory format or an external? If it was external try swapping the memory with another card and see if it powers on. If it doesn't power on, try another outlet, it could be that your outlet has been damaged or also the power supply for the unit could be damaged. If all else fails, try returning the product to the store where it was purchased. Often times if you purchase your product with a credit card, Visa/Master Card/ America Express they have a 90 day damage protection in addition to 1 extra year of extended warranty protection. They will in fact, refund you the purchase price within 90 days of purchase if you are unable to return it to the place of purchase or help you send the unit out to be repaired or replaced. Hope this helps!

When adj.cap was unscrewed adj.came out&threads broke apart

Send it back to Tasco, when the adjustment turret seal is breached it's more than likely the reticle is damaged.
Tasco has a very good repair policy, Below copied from their website:
Repair & Warranty Customer ServiceIf you have a Tasco product that requires service or repair,
  • 1. First determine if your product was manufactured before or after 9/1/02. Tasco products manufactured before this date did not have a code for the year of manufacture. Tasco products manufactured after 9/1/02 will have this code (See Diagram 1 for help with determining this).
The Tasco brand was purchased by the current owners in August of 2002. Only product manufactured after this date is entitled to complete warranty coverage.
  • 2. Call our Customer Service at 1-800-423-3537
If your product was manufactured after 9/1/02 be prepared to give the Customer Service Representative the code number found on the product and you will be given instructions on sending your product in for repair.
If your product was manufactured before 9/1/02 the Customer Service Representative will provide more information on the repair/replacement options available to you.

I have a 25 year old Redfield 6X18 scope, with an

bullet drop compensation,,,,compleat hog wash!
no such thing in a scope, only a realy pricy one like £1500.00p worth and there not that good! but there coming soon! driven by a lazer for range finding,,,
still your scope has clouded up becouse its leaking
water has got into it, it could be repaired but its not cheap to do, it needs a complet strip down all the class cleand and new seals then a re-gas and it should be as good as new for another 25 years or so,
any good scope with mill dot will work for you, you just need to relurn the bullet drop over again,,and with the years of shooting you have had that should come easy as falling over,,,why not just get a good prised 3/9x40 mill dot and try that out insted, you will be plesently pleased with todays mid priced range scopes treet your self, and save money at the same time

I would strip the wires as carefully as I could and get them back together, get the 2 AA batteries back in there, and see what happens. Then go about making a permanent splice in the wires and getting the lens to stay on there, or ship it back to Russia for repairs. Or find somebody to do it. I'm sure it can be done. Hope this helps.

I put a memory card which ws the wrong size and it disappeared. Doe anyone have a solution? If you do please send me an e-mail at epeters23@shaw.ca thanks Will Peters

I highly advise not to forcedly take it out of the frame as it may damage some parts of the frame.

Your frame will be repaired per warranty guidelines. A product is warranted for 1 year from the date-of-purchase. For an In-Warranty repair, a “Proof-of-Purchase” is required. If the repair center finds any customer induced damaged, the warranty will be voided and you will receive a notification from the repair center in such cases.

MEADE ETX80AT-BB

The ETX 80 is very difficult to work on. Getting at the flip mirror requires an almost complete teardown of the telescope and its mount. If you are not experienced at repairing the ETX scopes I would not advise trying this youself. I doubt that leaving the scope in the case too long is the cause of the coating damage. It takes years for fungus to really destroy coatings. I have seen newer Meade mirrors losing their coatings prematurely and feel this is a manufacturing defect. If the scope is in warranty it should go back to Meade. If not I'd have my dealer look at it and see if Meae will make an adjustment on it.
