My internet is no longer loading images correctly. What's wrong?
My internet was running properly not too long ago, but recently, I can't seem to use it correctly because images won't automatically load and there has been a decrease in speed. Some of the images do, but for others, I have to manually right click and select 'show image' in order for them to come up at all. It's annoying, and prevents me from doing things I need to do. I'm using Windows Vista, and I have Optimum Online. I currently use Mozilla Firefox on my computer, but have tried other browsers such as Internet Explorer and Opera which also don't display the images correctly. Can I do anything that will fix this problem?

This because of your internet connection is very slow. Try wireless broadband connection . + OR TRY THIS IF YOUR CONNECTION IS NOT SLOW + DISCONNECT TO INTERNET AND RE CONNECT TO THE IN TERNET OR Restart your computer and re connect to the internet.
On your husband's account open Internet Explorer. In the upper right corner, click the arrow next to "Tools" and select "Internet Options". In the Internet Options box, click the "Advanced" tab. Under "Reset Internet Explorer settings" click the "reset" box. Then restart IE.
There are other things that can be wrong, but let's try this first.
I had the same problem a few months ago, i also looked to see if i saw a mute function that was active anywhere. I did not find anything so i just reinstalled the application and my problem was fixed. At the link below you can find the realtek audio app. for xp and vista.
When images or animations no longer appear in your browser take the following steps.
The most obvious thing to check is that there are nopop up blockers enabled in either the areas below or your anti-virus or windows firewall program, this might also include any image control programs (manage add-ons) such as “Toggle images.exe” in your browser.
If you are using Internet Explorer go to TOOLS/ OPTIONS/ ADVANCED tab and scroll down to multimedia make sure the animations and pictures boxes are checked.
In Mozilla Firefox you find this area under TOOLS/ OPTIONS/ CONTENT/ check the box that says “Load images automatically”
On to the next step
In Internet Explorer go to VIEW/ ENCODING/ make sure “auto select” is checked and is set for the correct language (Unicode)
There must have been another event that happened. Moving wouldn't have prevented your images from loading. Did you install anything since you moved? It's possible that there might be some type of conflict.
Hi,when re-imaging the MAC-G4 the correct driver software for all the hardware is loaded ,provided the "expert"that has done the re-imaging used the correct method and firmware-If some of your hardware does not function, take it back to the firm or person that has done the job for you.It very likely needs a RE-re-image.Regards George
I suspect that when you connected the Hardware (the Modem) you did not install the drivers and/or did not re-enter the settings that your ISP gave you.
Contact your ISP's Help desk. These usually run 18 or 24/7 to answer questions just like this. They can run through a series of questions and supply settings that will get you back onto the Internet all while you are on the phone.
