Question about Hitachi 70VS810 70" Rear Projection HDTV
Yesteday my 70VS810 made a "buzz" sound and shut down. Now it will not turn the screen on and the "lamp" and "temp" lights flash in red when it tries to power up. The lamp fan does run, but no picture. Is this something simple? The warranty place is telling me 3 months until they can even look at it. I am hoping it's a fuse or something. Thank you in advance
You need to check the lamp itself, sometimes they just blow up like a bulb does and if the lamp is good make sure all the fans are running and all compartments are close properly like where the lamp sits.Set needs to be unplug from the wall while you check. The wainting is not acceptable for 3 months.Let Us know if you need more information.
