Take this link to hp website and either enter your model number and operating system or let hp detect your printer and install. I have found both to be helpful, if your printer is hp compatible.

SOURCE: Could my printer be lying to me when it says I'm out of ink?

Well regardless even if it is a scam... the printer will NOT let you print in any event, when any of the inks are low. You are right though, they are corporate **** , that exploit all printer uses via the ink, this ink, is more expensive than uranium, and they know it. Also they go to great lengths to defeat re-filling too... once you have bought a printer they make all their $$ from ink, haven't you always wondered why printers are so inexpensive, they are like drug dealers, they give you a taste and then say... oh now you gotta pay and pay and pay... HP are among the worst.

My printer is no longer connecting to my computer. it is off the list of printers. I cannot find the exact printer in the drop down list of printers. The printer is a HP psc 1210v

No matter if you are not able to find actual printer icon for 1210v. You can install Deskjet 990c driver which works with all hp printers

Here are the steps.

1- On computer click Start >>>> Control panel >>>> printer (printers and faxes)

2- click "add a printer"

3- click next on add printer wizard

4- select "local printer" (uncheck automatically detect my printer ) click next

5- select Usb virtual printer port and click next

6- select manufacturer as HP and printer as Deskjet 990c and click next

7- Make printer name hp 1210v click next

8- Use as default click next

9- Do not share click next

10- select "yes" to test page and click finish

Your printer is ready to use

How can you clean the printer but clicking on

Hi
If yourPSC 1210v printer has been left unused for some time? You probably have an ink clog and the standard cleaning is not enough to clear the clogged ink.

Assuming your HP 56 57 still has ink? Empty they are about 30g Each 1g over that is 1ml of unused ink.

Provided it worked OK before a period of non-use? Then you just need to use a PRINT HEAD CLEANING KIT to unclog the tiny jets.
Magic Inkjet Flush usually works a treat on those!

Magic is ideal for unclogging the tiny jets on any Canon,Epson HP and removing those horrible white lines which usually appear in prints when dried ink clogs several jets...

So if yours appears to be a clog? all you should need to do is to use a littleMagic Inkjet Flush to soak the print head and you should be printing again like new.

You can read more here:
How to Clean, Fix, Repair, Unclog, Dry, Clogged Print Heads on CANON, EPSON, HP, Lexmark, Dell, Olivetti etc…

Good Luck!

I have a all-in-one HP and ever since the last ink was changed out it has printed blurry on fast draft. Is there any way to reset it?

there should be printer alignment and print nozzle cleaner utilities available within the printer settings. These should allow you to calibrate your printer.
