A unit of this type should be returned to the manufacturer for evaluation.

How do I replace a outside central air conditioner

First you need to determine if it is a heat pump or straight cool condenser. The reason is the low voltage wiring is different. This is the correct way to install an outside unit.
1.Pad must be level and unit should be secured to withstand 140 mile uplift wind with tie down straps.
2. Make sure breaker size does not exceed max per data sticker on unit. The electrical whip should also be correct wiring size for breaker AMPS.
3. Remove the shard er core valve to prevent damage to it, protect king valve with wet cloth or thermal trap paste to avoid damage. Connect the liquid line small cooper pipe to unit by brazing. Then run through gauges Nitrogen at low psi to prevent shoot build up in line set, now start brazing the suction line large cooper pipe, once finished help cool with water cloth.Check visually for any missed spots and re braze. Once you are comfortable that braze is a good seal now it it pressure test time.
4. (The above procedure is assuming that the inside unit has already been installed correctly, including the line set to unit.)
Through gauges connect Nitrogen compressed gas tank and increase psi in the line set to 350 psi and let stand ten minutes. If pressure is still 350 on both gauges you have a good seal, release the nitrogen into the air and remove tank from hose. Once gauges read 0 psi on both sides high and low you can start the vacuum process. These pressures can differ per refrigerant ( R410A example).
5. Hook up the Vacuum pump to the middle hose from gauges making sure you have replaced the shard er core valve back into the ports.tighten all hoses to any connection on machine, gauges, and pump open gauges and turn on pump allow to run at lest 20 minutes or until you reach 100 microns in a vacuum.Shut, close gauges and shut off pump remove the hose from pump.connect this hose to refrigerant tank and purge to center hose at gauges ( minus) amount of purge.
6. Now you can open the king valve and let refrigerant flow out of the condenser into the line set and air handler otherwise you have to add the refrigerant, newer refrigerant has to be charged into unit in the liquid state not gas state. R410A older refrigerant can be charged in gas state R22.
7. Hook up electrical, breaker off check with volt meter, follow diagram on unit. Then hook up low voltage, for straight cool depends on t-stat and unit witch colors they use follow schematics. I have found that Goodman use blue as common and yellow for cool, make sure that the same colors are used in the air handler to provide the 24 volts to outside contact coil.
If this seams difficult, well it is unless you have the correct training incorrectly done can cause damage to unit and to personal health ..
8. Or call a professional HVAC tech.

How do I fix the unit when the water does not exit the drain but exits inside the house

I usually use nitrogen to clear the condensate line. You will have to cut the drain line and clear the line. Putting 3-4 drops of dishwashing liquid in drain once a month during A/c usage can prevent this from occurring.

Air conditioner isn't blowing any air through the vents. Compressor runs outside but blower isn't blowing air through room vents

Hello, kindly check your air blower if is running if not u need to call a service technician to check it, if it is running and blow some air, i guess you don't have enough freon to your condenser, (freon is a liquid like a liquid nitrogen that running thru the aircon to create a cold air. Thanks

I accidently hit the side of my RUUD achiever 10 seer unit with an axe and heard air rushing out of the unit. Can this be repaired?

Sounds like you ruptured the coils. Not repair for those. They must be replaced and the unit recharged with refrigerant. Be sure to turn the circuit breaker to the compressor OFF. It should remain that way, until the coils are replaced and the unit is recharged.

Hello, when ever you change out compressor you need to add a new liquid line filter drier, prsssurise the lines with dry nitrogen, pull a vaccum down to 500 microns, and then add refrigerant to the high side of the system with the unit off untill pressures equalize and you have added enough refrigerant to what the unit calls for. You dont have to use acid away unless it is a burn out.

Amcoraire minisplit A/C Model #AOS121HX Not cooling/heating P4 and p8 error codes After having the A/C head unit previously installed. I had to remodel and relocate the head unit to another...

P4 is a overheating compressor code in the outdoor unit. You probably still have a leak. Have your brother remove the remaining freon and pressure/leak test with a charge of nitrogen. I'f its leaking out this fast you should be able to find the leak with a soap solution. Once you've found the leak, pull a vacuum and flush with nitrogen before recharging the unit.

The unit sustained an impact during shipment and was dented on the bottom. I hammered out the dent and the condensation tank fits fine and the unit is working fine as well.

Extremely high head and suction pressures

disconnect the blower and turn on the ac.see if the coil frosts evenly.when you had the system open, you should have changed the liquid line drier.

2 ton sanyo suction pressure erratic

Your suction pressure is erratic, your max. pressure is to much high. You did not measure your unit current reading liquid line press. to complete the data. But the problem of your unit is not the compressor its the system. Try to reprocess the system flush the unit with nitrogen, isolate the capillary tube and flush it with nitrogen to insure that no restriction.
