You can try to run the recovery if it came with it but it doesn't sound yet like any kind of hardware failure (But it may also be the beginning of one)

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Is hp pavillion 533c wifi ready

Nope. Most desktops are not equipped with wifi adapter. If you do not have a plan to buy a newer computer, you have to think about investing a few thing. If my calculations are right could cost you round 30$ to 40$.
1. USB wifi adapter 15$25199670-hteicwtviizs0mofaamifrgr-5-0.png
2. USB extension cord (3 meters to 7 meters). This you will need to find good signal. 5$ to 10$25199670-hteicwtviizs0mofaamifrgr-5-1.jpg

3. If you don't have a USB port (which I don't see in the specs.), you need to buy pci USB card.

Caution to ask for "PCI USB expansion card".
Good luck, hope this helps.

I am not able to get the the start menu black screen ?

Your windows operating system is currupted. Try press f8 after posting screen if that works, and go into safe mode and go from there on. If your operating system doesn't prompt safe mode screen or anything after that... then your windows is corrupted and needs repair or restore. With some Hp computer, restore/repair option is in a hidden partition and you can recover this method at the hp logo via a F fuction key prompting to press for recover/setup/repair. Follow instruction and it should help you out. If there isn't that option, then your kind of out of luck, and a full windows installation is required.

My hp vs17 isn't starting up. it says that a recently changed software or hardware might have caused this problem. i just don't know how to start it because when i do it redirects me back to that same...

You may not have given us enough info; it may make a difference which computer and/or operating system you are using.
If Windows, try restarting the system and tapping on the F5 or F8 key (not always the same) to reach a short menu with a choice of boot routines. If you have it, choose the 'Safe Mode.' This loads only a minimum of drivers and only a crude video resolution but gives you a chance on examining the settings for normal operation and if needed, removing an offending program.

Where is the system battery on the hp pavillion 533c

Without the mother model/type it's impossible to tell you where the Bios Battery is located. But there's not much difficulty, generally only two types of alignments, as shown below, horizontally on the motherboard and vertically : a74f1de.jpg
Vertical,

Horizontal.

Hp pavillion m9080n cannot read flopy disk

Floppy disk drives (and disks) are not that reliable and usually fail, especially on older computers. A test would be to try a different floppy, also try formatting a different floppy. Can you read the problem floppy from a different computer?
