If there is no place on the back where you can unscrew it, you will need to either 1 take it apart with the screws from the back (UNPLUG THE UNIT!!) or take it to an authourized dealer/repair facility to have it checked/fixed.

OSD in my LG Monitor (Flatron 795 plus) is moving verticaly. what's problem and Solution ?

Long story short, double check the cables make sure that you don't have any external speaker close to the monitor, the magnet in the speak can cause this issue. If that doesn't work then you might need a new monitor since is would be cheaper then fix the power supply. You can also check out

How to fix my LG flatron M1710S monitor. The picture will not come on

Check another video cable to make sure, another monitor if you have one to verify that the connection to the computer is actually working. Could be the video card if you have one installed on the computer and if you don't, then it could be the video port on the motherboard itself

Bought a 2nd hand LG Flatron monitor It opens on Windows but nothing else works. Do I need a driver? Its a Flatron 1718S and I can't get a driver on line on my other computer with the LG monitor. Im using...

You should download the manual for this monitor. You can find it here: http://elektrotanya.com/?q=showresult&megnev=LG&megnev2=L1718&kategoria=&kat2=all

If it is working fine on Windows but not on another operating system, it is very likely a driver problem. You'll need to check the manual on what operating systems are supported. Visit the LG website to download available drivers. Good luck.
