Question about HP f2105 21" LCD Monitor
Hi my monitor comes on for about 3 seconds, and then goes off? Any suggestions as to what might be the problem?
First you have to install anti-virus software, run a full scan and restart the computer. If you already have some on, then just run a full-scan. Then you have to erase a heck of a lot of things from your computer, prefferably everythingthat you dont use. Or you can use a flash drive or external hard drive, anything to take the stuff off your regular drive. The screen goes black but if you hold a energy saver light bulb close enough to it you can see what your doing (energy saver light because they are easy on your eyes). Then you have to downlaod something that would give you virtual memory (just type "virtual memory" in your search engine, anything really works and they are free - mostly). You may have to restart again after that. Finally, defragment the the computer AND LEAVE IT OFF FOR AT LEAST TWO HOURS.
This solution is not 100% cure but it has worked for me, and when I turned my computer on I still had to turn the monitor off and on a few times but it was much less and it eventually stayed on. Personally I wont turn it off again, but if your problem still persists, call a technical genius for help, or get a new computer - THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE MONITOR, ITS THE PCU.
