I have a dell Dimension desk top and when I turn it on it has both passwords set can some one tell me how can I open my computer with out knowing the pass words please??

Depends on the windows program if you are running windows and what version, i can tell you what f key to hold when it starts, sometimes entering admin as the password under default works if not need to either hold down f2 or f9 sometimes f8 just depends, they have to be held down while powering as soon as the startup screen apears go into the settings and turn off start up password set it to admin.

Reset bios asus eee box 1035

When your PC is booting up it will display a message about which key to press to enter the BIOS. This is most commonly one of the F keys, like F1 or F2. Once in the BIOS there should be an option to restore all default settings. You will have to configure to restore all settings and then go to Save and restart computer. Once your computer restarts you will want to enter the BIOS again and make sure all the settings were indeed set back to default. Is there a specific setting you are concerned about that is making you think it is causing problems?

Reset asus eee top to factory setting

Open the display on your Asus and click the "Shut down" tab in the lower-right corner of the desktop.
Click "Yes" when prompted, to confirm.

Power on your laptop, and press the "F9" key when you see the logo screen.
A menu will pop up with a list of three options.
Select the "Restore Factory Settings" option (which is the last one in the menu).

Select "Yes" when prompted, then hit the "Enter" key to confirm the reboot.

Wait about 30 seconds for the system to restart, then agree to the licensing agreement when prompted.

Confirm your name, password and time and date when prompted.
Then wait as your computer configures.

hope this helps

Reset eeebox pc

  • Turn on your Eee pc
  • Continuously press F9 until a screen comes up with three options.
  • The third will be 'reset to factory settings.
  • This will delete all data and reset your eee pc.
  • Press down until it is highlighted then press enter.
  • It will tell you what it is about to do and ask you to type yes to continue.
  • Type in 'yes' - no capital letters
  • It will reset your Eee pc and ask you to press enter to reboot.

Your eee pc will then reboot and ask you for a name and password and all that stuff it asked you to do when you got it.
