Question about Westell Wirespeed VersaLink (A99-327W11-00) Router (A99327W1100)
We just switched from Bellsouth DSL to Roadrunner Turbo. Bright house Networks provided a new modem. Now, we can only get on the internet with the main computer. We have 2 desktop computers, 2 laptops, and an XBOX that were on a wireless system with a Westell Versalink Model 327W Router. Is there a way to bypass the Westell modem and only use it as a router? If so, how do I hook it up? OR....Can you just tell me what I need to do to get everyone back online and happy again? After weeks of listening to kids complain about how slow DSL was, I upgraded to Roadrunner. Now, no one is happy because they can't get online at all. HELP!!!!! : )
I'm sorry to say but you cannot bypass the modem capability of the DSL Westell Modem/router because that is really made to function as a DSL modem and a router at the same time, so the best way to make everything work here since you change from DSL to Cable internet just need to get a wireless router like a Linksys WRT54G that can make everything work again like before.....
