Gps receiver I have a telefunken gps receiver(TGPS-4300BT) that all of a sudden stopped working. When i switch it on i get the loading icon on the screen and nothing else happens. I've tried to reset it but it did'nt help. Could you perhaps assist me on what could be the problem and how to get around it. Thanks Americo Silva americosil@gmail.com

SOURCE: hi neeed to user guide for telefunken tgps374

Hi there, I have a user guide for this product. It is only a few pages with no actual technical specs on it just normal care guides and how to use. I have been having issues with mine. It never picks up GPS fast enough, the speaker on the GPS comes on and goes off all the time i get incorrect directions sometimes. Anyone else having these issues? how did you sort it out?

SOURCE: Telefunken

These guys come preinstalled with Tele Atlas map, but for some reason I can't find any support for downloads for the maps to Telefunken GPS on their site. Best bet is to contact customer service directly at +31 20 582 94 91 or you can submit your question directly to customer support here.

SOURCE: Connecting Garmin GPS 152 to VHF Radio Silva S15

Hi!

From the S15 owners manual (Page 46):
http://www.bluemoment.com/manuals/silva_s15.pdf

The RED wire is GPS data,
The green wire is GPS ground.

Hope this helps and good luck!

The truck antennas can go bad. It could be the cable though. You can replace either part at www.tss-radio.com

White screen

I had the same problem with my Pioneer Inno Gex-Inno2BK XM radio receiver. One evening while leaving work, I gently took it out of the cradle & the screen suddenly went completely blank & all white. I could still hear music but there was no screen visible. Solution is this: (1) Gently remove the back cover which covers the battery. (2) Gently remove the dark blue square battery which is only about 1 inch (width) by 3/4 inch (height) by 1/4 of an inch in thickness. I removed mine by holding the receiver upside down & gently shaking it with one hand until the battery came out into my other hand. After about 4 or 5 gentle shakes, it came out. (3) Wait about 10 seconds. (4) Place battery back into XM radio receiver being careful to line the copper power receptable on the battery with a corresponding surface inside the receiver. Each copper area is only about 1/10 of an inch by 1/10 of an inch. Use this as a guide when putting the battery back in to make sure it's lined up properly. (5) Gently slide the cover back in place & let it snap into place. (6) Turn receiver back on by pushing power button like normal. (7) XM receiver should boot up with a full display just like new. All recorded songs are still in place. Nothing has been lost. Problem solved. Root cause of problem is probably some type of boot-up issue with the receiver in which the battery (i.e., the power supply) just happened to be slightly ajar...which also persisted even when placing the receiver back in the cradle until the above steps were taken. The steps above worked beautifully for me...Hope it works for you as well! Have A Great Day...Tom Armstrong

Is this like your unit? Don't you have the vbi teletext support on your freeview receiver?

Sirius XTR1 Receiver cycles on dog screen with beep - keyboard locked

Hello, I had the same problem with my xact xtr1 and I was advised by xact that they have no repair process in works and most likely wont. They did say let it run for 10 minutes and once you have a menu switch to factory defaults which proves to be a worthless fix. I would have to pay $39.95 for a new radio...horrible customer service. The bright side is that Sirius will not charge me the $75.00 transfer fee as a good faith gesture. I have decided to switch to another radio and leave the Xact brand out of the equation, if there is no upgrade or modification to the existing equipment why set yourself up for a future failure.

Roady XT periodic errors

The pins get easily damaged when switching from the car dock to the Belkin boom box. I have to constintly squeeze very ******* the top of the xt in order for it to make contact. Belkin will send you a plastic alignment fixture but it is too late. It still does the same thing.
