Debree filter located at bottom right on the front of the washing machine is blocked. Power needs to be turned off, and compartment to filter opened with a coin before cleaning, there is a hidden tube again to the right and below the filter, pull out cap to this and put bowl below to catch water - there is rather a lot of water so important to do this. Don't forget to clean the filter once water empties out.

I have a Maytag MAH-24 Washing Machine showing a 5E error code

You will have to contact Maytag and speak to their service dept and give them your model number. Ask them what a 5E eror is and when you call for service, tell the repair facility what Maytag told you. That will next to eliminate labor cost for Diagnostic.

WASHING MACHINE SHOWING ERRORMESSAGE 5E

rw
Hello, and sorry to read about you 5E code issue.

If your dishwasher is displaying error code 5E, It can be caused by a kinked drain hose. A good indication that the drain hose is kinked is excessive water in the bottom of your dishwasher after a cycle has been completed. If your dishwasher is displaying error code 5E, your dishwasher will have to be removed to inspect the drain hose for kinks. If your dishwasher was professionally installed, contact the installer to remove the dishwasher and inspect the drain hose. If you installed the dishwasher your self, the dishwasher will have to be removed for drain hose inspection.

If your hose shows no kink's you may have a clogged pump.

Error code SE or 5E

'SE' is a temporary sensor error. Switch off power at wall plug, wait a few seconds, switch it back on and it may clear the fault.

I have j1045 front load samsung 7 kg washing machine it shows 5E message and its not draining properly.we cleaned the filter, and drainage hose is not jamed.what should i do

The display should say 5E, this means that it's not draining. unlucky for you as this means you have to replace the drain pump, wich aperently cost about $137NZ. this seemes to be a common fault. i'm not a teck, but I just had the same thing happen, lucky for me i had a warranty.
Other simptoms are the loud racking noise coming fromn the washing machine. home this helps.
