Question about D-Link ADSL2/2+ Modem/Wireless Router 4-Port Switch, 802.11g, QoS (DSL-2640B)
I have a major problem starting my pc. if i remove the ethernet wire before trying to start up all ok. but try booting with wire in and its a no go zone.
There could be a possible issue with the lan card that you have, first thing you may want to try is to update the drivers for the card and if it is still not helping, please try to uninstall and reinstall the card in the computer.
for isolation purposes you may try another card of different brand on the computer and check if it will run or not. we dont want to look at a possible IRQ resource conflict, but at least we can isolate the issue and narrow things down.
