Question about Apple iPod nano
BubbaBear answered a poster who asked: What generation is my iPod nano? He said it was easy, but mine doesn't fall in his categories. My iPod Nano is black in front with a chrome back, and it was given to me three years ago and is pretty scratched up but works well. It is 4 GB and the model number is A1137. I want to find out if it is 1G or 2G because I need a new case and they seem to differ based on that distinction.
If you have the Nano with the smaller screen measuring 1" x 1.25" and got it 3 years ago, you most likely have the 2nd generation. Apple doesn't really have cases on their site for the older nano. I have the same one and purchased my case at Target. They have a good selection of 3rd party (non-Apple branded) cases. You can also check an Apple store if you have one close by.
Hope this was helpful.
Have a great day
