Most registers have a setting for compressed (half height) print. Check you manual for this setting. If you have lost the manual, one of the users has most cash register manuals here: http://the-checkout-tech.com/

Computer is on when plugged in and will not turn off with the power switch. computer will boot up to sign in window but freezes with instructions to register windows but keyboard and mouse do not work at...

First of all you have a couple of issues..

The power button on those old systems don't allow for shutoff by power button when there is an issue, odd i know but I just had one in this week...

As for registering it sounds as if the system just went through a reinstall atleast more then 30 days ago.

Try starting the system with the disc in the drive, when the system starts up try clicking ESC button or F12.

that should allow you the chance to click start from disc and restart all over again.

Well, whenever we experience a computer freeze.. Usually the outcome is things not saving when we shut off the machine.

Its a common error of computers, sorry for your luck man. Theres no way of retrieving the points/scores you had.

Hope I helped you.

Dvd drive not reading a disc

If this happens with every disc, then your drive needs fixing/cleaning or replacement. If it only happens with a specific disc such as your game, then something's wrong with the disc. If it's a homemade DVD you may be dealing with copy protection. Try cleaning the disc and the player. Try the disc in another computer.

Code ep94 on casio pcr-265p register

Hi.
Common problem with this type of printer. The rotary switch on the side of the printer is getting dirty. If you spray an electrical lube spray (WD40 works fine) into the right side of the printer where the little bars go through the printer housing, then it will often come right. You might need to do it a few times. Try to get the spray to go through the bearing where the spring sits on the shaft. Don't worry if you get the spray where it shouldn't go. the printer can handle it. Just remove the ink roller before you start so it doesn't soak the spray up.
