Have you tried resetting your router? i have a belkin wireless adapter and have poor signal in my room, most days it works fine other days it continuously dissconnects, i reset the router and its usually fine after that. Does your lap top internal wireless device only disconnect when playing warcraft?
Try it in another location whilst playing.

My computer tells me that if my wireless adaptor was plugged into a different USB root hub it would work faster. How is this done?

Try plugging the wireless adapter into one of the usb slots on the back of the computer. If it still shows that message, I wouldn't worry. The difference in speed is negligible at best. hope this helps

I would suggest backing up all you sensitive data and doing a complete factory restore withe the Lenevo disks that came with your laptop. Some of them are stored on the hard drive and you just have to press a button. It should say at start up which it is.

Wireless adapter

Go for an external USB wireless adapter, and the speed may vary depending on barriers and the distance from the router, the max. distance is about 30 ft from the router.
Tell me if anything else you want to know abt the wireless connection?

How do you install wireless usb adaptor

A wireless USB adapter is a simple device that connects to an open USB port on your computer or laptop, allowing you to connect wirelessly to a network that is within range. They come with different connection speeds, ranges and security protection allowing you to connect to the Internet and use email servers, without complicated setups. Installing USB adapters to a computer is a simple task that anyone can perform. With just a few steps, you can access wireless networkmag-glass_10x10.gif where there is one.
jQuery('.intro .thumbnail').each(function(i,e){ jQuery(e).find('img').one('error',function(){ jQuery(e).remove(); }); }); Difficulty: Moderately Easy Instructions
  1. Step 1 Research around before purchasing a wireless USB adapter. There are many different networking companies such as Belkin, Netgear and Linksys (see links in Resources). Compare prices and features such as speed in megabytes per second (mbps). Look for wireless USB adapters with a compliance of IEEE 802.11b or IEEE 802.11g. These options give you increased security on your network.
  2. Step 2 Plug your purchased USB into a USB port on your computer. Depending on the chosen model, you may have an installation CD. Place your installation CD into the CD-ROM on your computer, and follow the setup instructions to install the wireless USB drivers. Some adapters will install automatically.
  3. Step 3 Locate the wireless icon on the lower right of your computer screen. If there is an "X" marked on it, use the manual that comes with your purchased wireless USB adapter to configure it properly. The wireless icon usually lights up when a wireless connection point is detected.

Usb adapter will not connect to wireless router

Do you mean the USB connector for the wireless router won't plug into the PC, or that you're trying to plug some kind of adapter into the router, as it sounds; though you haven't made a complete sentence.

Ask again, in your choice of category between: your exact model of wireless router or your exact model of USB adapter.

Keyboard intermittent

There might be a problem with the keyboards PS2 port. You can bypass the PS2 port all together by buying a PS2 Y-adapter to usb port. This Y adapter will allow you to plug your PS2 mouse & keyboard into it and than you plug the other end into a free usb port. You do not have to plug the PS2 mouse in if you do not want to. Just plug in the keyboard. If your keyboard functions than there is a prolem with the keyboard's PS2 port. The PS2 Y-adapter to USB runs about $12.00 to $15.00. You can find one at Wallmart.
