You said that your computer is not Turn it ON and after that you said that you are hitting F12.

Hitting F12 will NOT turn your computer ON.
    You must hit POWER

If after that your computer is not working the problem could be related to a power supply.
Check on the back of your computer is the fan is working, also check inside if the cpu fan is working.
If not you have to replace your power supply.

Why are you rating my help as innapropiate since I'm trying to help you for free?
Please explain or change my rate

    Thank you

First of all you put the question like a Desktop instead a Laptop (that's is not my fault)

to get into your BIOS on Toshiba do this

    Toshiba Laptops: - Toshiba Utility
Toshiba: - Press Esc during boot
Toshiba, Phoenix, late model PS/1 Value Point and 330s: - Press F1 during boot

System won't boot up window XP

HI Joe. It's likely you have a virus. Or could be just a corrupted section of the hard drive. The F8 is what gets you to the black screen with the differnt boot options. F2 or Del button gets you in the the BIOS or start up instrutions for the PC. F 12 will get you boot device options. The F12 or F2 needs to be pressed before it ever gets to try starting windows. So when you first power on, immediately start tapping the F12 about once a second. This should bring up a menu of which items/ device, to start from. [If you get a stuck key message just clear it and continue tapping F12 or start over] I would suggest you use the windos CD and choose the CD device to boot from, then it will recognize the CD drive. You could follow the CD start up options to peform a repair of windows. If you do a repair, then you should also perform a virus scan immediately after. If after all that, you still have issues, then it's likely the hard drive itself is bad or going bad and you should look at replaceing it. Good luck.

I have a toshiba p205d-s7436 when you turn the laptop on a black sceen reads toshiba leading innovation i tryed putting recovery discs in will not reboot tryed f12 and f2 it will not boot up PLEASE ANY...

The first step is to check the BIOS to see if your hard drive is listed. If so, is it set to be the first boot device. To enter the BIOS, use the F2 option when prompted.

If the hard drive is not present, it's either come loose, or the drive's controller has failed.

Also, if you can use the F12 option to boot to a CD/DVD drive, use another computer to download the Ultimate Boot CD iso from, and then burn it to a CD. This will create a bootable diagnostic CD that you can use to run diagnostics of your hard drive.

Let me know how this works for you.
