I taped a TV show. But I can't fast forward to see the end part that I want to watch. It just advances to the end.

I'm not surprised that it advances on the end. The VCR doesn't know where the end of the taped programme is. You will have to search manually for it. Start at the end of the tape and rewind a few minutes worth of recording then press 'play' and see what you get. If not successful rewind further and try again, etc, etc. Alternatively you could press "play +rewind" which should allow you to watch the record on what is fast (=x2) rewind. It will help you if you know how long the show was and at what point the tape was when recording started.

VCR does not play.. It keeps ejecting the tape

Does it eject right when you put a tape in? Or when you press play? Does it fast forward or rewind? if not a belt may need to be replaced or an idler tire is worn.

I want to play a movie on my vcr but when i puch

You will have dirt on the heads, the picture will show through when you scan as it is travelling past the heads at a faster rate. Either try using a head cleaning tape or remove the top cover & very gently use a head cleaning fluid (eg. isopropal alcahol) with a head cleaning stick or clean piece of card (Do Not use a cloth or cotton bud etc) very GENTLY with not too much pressure wipe the heads on the side of the head drum (the round center silver object) DO NOT apply too much pressure as you can damage the heads easily, wait a few minutes for the fluid to dry then try to play a tape.

Picture visible only during fast forward

You have dirty heads, hence the blue screen, either try using a head cleaning tape, although these do not always do a through job, or if you remove the top cover & using a head cleaner fluid, VERY GENTLY wipe the heads at the sides of the round silver drum using either a head cleaner stick with the fluid or a piece of sturdy card. DO NOT put too pressure against the head or you will damage them completly & would need replacement heads. Leave them a few minutes to dry then try playing a tape once more.

Video tapes only paly for about 2 seconds then stops

The heads need cleaning and/or the tapes are old and dirtying up the playing heads.
Run a wet tape head cleaner through an see if this improves.

VHS tape won't play or rewind

I work at the History Channel and have  a VHS that had the same troubles. I need it desperately for the show I am working on. I tapped it on a table fast forwarded it and presto! Tape fixed, crisis averted. Thank you, Thank you, thank you.

VHS tape was playing . After stoping does not play. Other tape will play

The idler wheel (that only drives the tape in play or scan modes) is slipping too much (very common problem). Try verify this by putting the tape in play then immediately press the fast fwd or rewind buttons to scan the tape. On older machines, the idlers used rubber friction tires - on newer ones, a clutch. Either replace the tire or increase the spring tension on the clutch.
Hope Ya Fix It.
