Most probably you will have to format the disk ... since the partion might have lost from the .. thumb drive..

so use some kind of recovery tools to get the data bak from your drive ...
there is a lot of recovery tools in Hiren's Boot Cd ...

I want to reformate this flash drive how do i do it

Insert it to your computer through the USB port, if it opens up automatically, close the window. Open My Computer, locate the "Cruzer" or "Removable Media" or whatever name is specified to your cruzer, right click and select "Format", a new dialog box will pop up, click "Start" to begin formatting, wait for few seconds until the formatting is done. You'll hear a notification sound when formatting is completed. Hope this helps.
Let me know if you need further help.
Good Luck.

How to solve error code 8002F14E on a ps3 or playstation 3

This error code relates to an update error either the update didnt complete or it was a bad update.

If you have any warranty left on your ps3 then please dont mess about with it just take it back to where you brought it from and get it exchanged for a new one.

Below is a couple of ideas that people have used to solve this problem now the first solution i can advise you to do as it dont require you to remove any parts and does usually solve the problem, i have solved the problem that way a couple of times on peoples ps3 and it works say 8 out of 10 of the times so you can give that a try just goto the ps3 official website for your country and then you can download the updates and try a full update.

Now the second way does sometimes work but less often and messing with your hard drive means your going to lose anything saved on it and you may get errors after so i cant advise you on doing this at all as its not recomended to work but may work its all up to you at the end of the day.
try the new update first then get back to me with what happens before trying the second way ok,

Go to the UK PS3 official site and access the download PS3 updates page. Download the latest PS3 updates from this site onto a USB Memory Stick, saved in a Folder PS3\UPDATES (must be in capitals). Plug the memory stick into any of the USB ports on the PS3 and try to run the update again. I had to swith it off, and back on again numerous times still getting the same error but then for no reason it decided to complete the update and now everything is ok.

This is the second way but dont try this untill you have tried the first way several times the update may not take so you need to keep trying until it does take only do the next option as a last resort but it will format the hard drive meaning you lose everything saved on it and this isnt an advisable coarse of action.

-Open the side of your PS3 where your HDD is. Take the screw out, but leave the HDD in.
-Whenthe update begins, slide your HDD out of the slot. It will tell you an error occured and it tells you to restart your system and try again. Instead, let the count from 60 run out, your screen will go blank for aabout 30 seconds then it will start back up and tell you that your Hard Drive needs to be reformatted. Now, slide your HDD into place again, and continue with the format. You will lose all your saved data, but your console will work again.

If after trying them you still have no joy then you should contact sony and they should fix this for you for free as this isnt a fault you have caused yourself its a fault with with either their update or the ps3 hard drive so contact them and tell them your problem.

If you have any warranty left on your ps3 then take it back to where you brought it from and they will exchange it for a new one for you.

Analyze Your PC & Detect New Driver Updates Online...For Free!

Even if your Support Helpdesk is just a dial away, knowing the innards of your computer is just as important as knowing the software you are working on. Unlike cars, computers need constant updates of both software and hardware. For the sake of efficiency, updating these should be a matter of routine. Take for example, moving from Windows Vista to Windows7; does your computer hardware support the new OS? Or would it do better with some drive upgrades? Thankfully, there are free, single click solutions available which can analyze PC systems and give us a brief on our hardware and the changes that can be made.

Ma-Config is an online tool that does two jobs for us – it analyzes your pc and identifies the hardware and software components (also up to 10 shared PCs). Secondly, with a few clicks, one can download all the latest drivers matching the hardware configuration.

Ma-Config does all the driver detection using a downloadable ActiveX plug-in. The free service is Windows only and is certified by VeriSign. The plug-in is compatible with all the major browsers like Internet Explorer, Opera, Chrome, Firefox and Safari. The driver database is provided by TousLesDrivers.

Ma-Config makes it easy for both the starter guy and the experienced hand. There is nothing complicated to install apart from a little plug-in to start the process to analyze PC systems. Ma-Config moves the process towards the download of the newer drivers and also gives us a few more steps to consider like sharing your configuration or recording it in a PDF document.
maconfig_steps.png Before starting the detection you can change a few of the settings via the Settings link given on the left hand side menu of the homepage. The settings relate to the detail of the detection. For those not comfortable with the terms, the default settings are good enough.
maconfig_settings.png Click on Start the Detection to bare the large green button which tells you to run the detection. The plug-in will analyze the PC system and generates the report summary. Click on the devices list on the left menu to get the finer details. You can redetect your system anytime with a click.
maconfig_report.png If you now want to update your PC, the large green button marked with Download drivers compatible with this configuration, takes you down that path courtesy of TousLesDrivers.
maconfig_driverdownload.png You can share your configuration using a link or with an email. Or maybe take out a PDF report and mail it directly across. The PDF report comes in quite handy if you want to send it forth to a vendor or to a support technician. Trust me, any extra information you can give to a tech...they will appreciate it.

Ma-Config also has an offline mode whereby you can use the plug-in on a computer not connected to the internet, run the scan and save the results. The results can then be analyzed on another computer with an internet connection.

Ma-Config is a web tool and like all web based tools it prevents us from installing a bulky program. The only minus, some parts of the website are in French.

Hardware installation not success , while inserting the Sandissk Cruzer Blade pendrive.

How's it going? The Sandisc Cruzer is a nice pendrive. Try this. On your computer, Turn off all "auto run" & save any files from the cruzer you want. click start>computer, Insert the cruzer in a usb drive. Watch the screen & see what drive it installs in. Let it complete this process. Right click on the cruzer, Go down & click on "properties." Click on tools>error checking. scan for errors. When done, click, okay. Right click on cruzer again & click, format. This will delete any files you have in there that's why we saved files earlier, right? Formatting will Right any Wrong so to speak & get your cruzer for use. When you download, download to your computer, Save it. You could scan it for viruses etc at this point. Then you got three choices, You can send it to cruzer,(right click on the file & go down to send, & sent it to the drive cruzer is in.) or, you could, "copy & Paste," it on over to cruzer. And last but not least, you could, "drag" it on over to cruzer. Once you got it over there & you are ready to leave. Right click on cruzer, go down to, "eject," or, "remove." & wait until cruzer tells you it's okay to safe to remove. This is most important because if you just yank it out, you could be ruining some files on the cruz-miester. So try this & Good Luck! BRUTUS X

I've gotten the error code 8002F14E after upgrading my ps3 to the latest version. system update stops at 68% and then this error pops out.

It is because you don't have the blu-ray drive connected that is making this fail. Hook it up again then try to update. If it doesn't update that way try downloading from Sony's site to a USB drive and update that way. If the laser is bad on the drive you may just want to get Sony to repair/ replace it, even if out of warranty as that is still cheaper than buying a new system.
If you cannot get to any menu to tell ps3 where it is to download it.
Then go to System Update but just tell the PS3 to go for an external device instead of looking for it over the internet.
