Question about Optoma H56 Multimedia Projector

3 Answers

Screen Display I instaled this unit in the ceiling yesterday and adjusted the size to fit the full screen, I removed the unit and ran the wires in a more permanent way and reinstalled. Now i cannot get the projector image to fill my scree. I have tried 4:3, 16:9, letter box, and one other. I believe the problem is with the computer as my son hooked it up to a tv while i was making the permanent installation of the projector. Help, Help, Help I have a church service in that room tonight.

TRY TO ADJUST THE SCREEN RESOLUTION OF YOUR COMPUTER. FOLLOW THHIS FEW STEPS TO MAKE CHANGES...

1.Navigate to the Control Panel in Microsoft Windows by left-clicking on Start, followed by Settings and then choosing Control Panel.

2.In the Control Panel window, open Display.

Note: In Microsoft Windows XP, depending on how your operating system is setup, you may not see the Display icon. To correct this, click on the link on the left-hand side of the Control Panel window that says Switch to Classic View.

3.In the Display Properties window, click on the Settings tab.

4.Locate the Screen resolution slider on the left-hand side of the window. Under most circumstances, the best choice is 800 by 600 pixels or 1024 by 768 pixels, possibly higher if you're using a 19" or larger monitor. The "best" setting is highly subjective to your personal preferences.

Note: Some types of software require the screen resolution settings to be set at a specific size. If you receive errors when opening certain software titles be sure to make any changes here as necessary.

5.Click the OK or Apply button to confirm the changes. If prompted, follow any additional on screen directions.

Hope this initial info helps.

Go to start-settings -control- panel - display - settings tab. change the desktop resolution around ( the slider that says "desktop resolution"), checking the screen as you do . this should help you find the edges of the screen.

Cannot get full screen picture

Full screen resolution depends on the source signal that you feed to your LCD TV. Most often, the signal come in 16:9 screen size, which sometimes show big black portion on both top and bottom of screen. To maximizes screen display, you can adjust the screen size of your LCD TV through remote control, this features are available in most LCD TV. you will have the option to choose Full Screen Mode, 16:9 screen resolution or many others to choose from (most case about 3 to 4 screen size.

How do I adjust web page to fit display screen

There is the Zoom option in the View menu if you are using IE. You can set it to 100%. With IE8 you can use F11 to set it to display on full screen. Unless you need to set the screen resolution, width and height for your monitor, those should work for you. Pressing Ctrl key and scrolling your mouse will adjust the zoom of web page too, quicker way.

You can adjust the screen resolution to increase the size of the image to fill the screen.
Go to the Control Panel - Display - Settings and adjust the screen resolution to 1280 X 1200 pixels. If this still doesn't fill the screen then increase it further say 1600 X 1200 pixels even higher if necessary.

Screen adjustment of toshiba satellite 25505

There is a micro cable that runs down one side of the screen then around the hinge then under the bezel and connects to the motherboard.
If everything is fine there then follow the process mentioned below.
right click on the desktop
click on "properties"
click on "settings" tab
click on "advanced options"
click on the "monitor" tab
uncheck the box that says "hide the modes that this monitor cannot display"
if you now click the "adpater" tab and click on the button to "show all modes" a full list of all screen sizes should appear.
click "ok" to close the advanced options window
you should now be looking at the screen setting window where you can adjust the screen settings by sliding the screen resolution tab left or right to the desired scree size for installing the program.
