what you need to do is this.
i cant help you if you have a mac but i can help you if you have a pc.
for pcs, you need to plug in your player.once its connected, double click "my computer".in it, the player should have registered and their should be an icon that says "sandisk sansa e260" ( or something like that, i couldnt exsactly tell you considering my player is completely busted at the moment.)then you should see a bunch of files.the files will include album art, songs, and folders for videos or pictures.in the pictures folder you can access your pictures, and right click on the files you wish to delte, and simply just...hit delete.

Follow up to Sara16. If you cannot see the folder try disabling the Show Hidden Files and folder on the Tools>Folder Options> View Tab . For you to see the hidden folders on your computer.

The MUSIC folder is a "hidden" folder when in MSC mode.
To view it (assuming you're using Windows XP) go to:
My Computer>Tools>Folder Options>View Tab.
Scroll down till you see Hidden Files and Folders
and click on Show Hidden Files and Folders, and then OK.
You should then be able to see all the folders on your Sansa. The "hidden" folders will appear slghtly lighter in color. This is where you can delete click on folder then go toleft of screen to "delete this folder" (or open folder and click individual song" then go to left of screen
