TOO SLOW

Aishwarya,

If you feel the working is slow then there is nothing you can do except stop some programs running in the background. And if you feel that reading and copyinh the memory card is slow then buy a better and faster card.

Samsung satr touch phone has became very slow and cant sent/view sms

Hi

This is caused as a result of trying to run too many programs at once or maybe your memory is almost full

Try freeing up some disk space on your phone by deleting some unnecessary files on your phone.

If your phone is still slow then you should do a master reset (this will delete all the files on your phone and restore your phone to its original factory settings) so make sure you back up your files

This is how to do a master reset

Go to settings on your phone menu

Scroll to "reset settings" and click on it

Enter the password and press "Enter." The default password is 00000000.

Click "yes" and your phone will reset..

Did your computer come with recovery discs? the original operating systems and applications? if so, you can run the installation discs and bring it back to the original state.

Slow running mac

There are a number of reasons that may causing a Mac computer running slow, but generally two factors: hardware part & system part. For hardware part: I guess it's OK if your Mac is not that old. For system part: there might be a lot of junk files, caches, registry errors... about 80% slow Mac caused by this reason, if so, try cleaning the system. I cant get factory settings on my computer My hard drive wont work properly Ihavent got any memory.Computer very slow Please explain in laymans terms Obliged

1. Factory settings on computer.
There really isn't "factory settings" to reset. Well it isn't simple as that. There is the BIOS which can be reset to "default settings" for the BIOS. Also most brand name computers come with a recovery feature, in which you can recovery/restore the computer back to original factory defaults with original software all installed. Therefore the computer's operating system (usually windows) will be running with the programs like it would run if you were to buy the same new laptop.

2. Hard drive won't work properly.
You can give the hard drive a test using the hard drive's company's hard drive testing software which can be download from their site. The software would test the hard drive to make sure nothing physical is wrong and the hard drive is functioning like normal.

3. Haven't got any memory. Computer very slow.
You can always buy more memory. If windows says it's running out of memory. That means there is too many software running in the background.

Comment if you want more explained.

Slow, slow, slow

Yes. The computer will be back to original factory settings. Hence, you will lose all the data. that's why I asked if you have backed up your impt files. You haven't reinstalled the OS on your computer siince you got it?

Thanks,
