Question about Refrigerators
Sorry about this ongoing saga...
The coil at the back is quite hot to the touch at the top..but ok further down. The condenser seems to be running all the time. I still caonnot find an access point for the thermistor.
We moved the fridge further from the wall for airflow. No change.
Hi there ,
as I tol dou before, more than having a faulty thermostat it looks like the compressor is not efficient enough and it is continuosly under stress.
A very hot coil may be another symptom for this.
Here you find some more tips on how to reduce the compressor pump work load on a fridge.
Regarding the Thermostat, this is always located behind one of the fridge internal panels, and it is directly connected to the temperature control knob.
If there is no other cover to access the thermostat, than it is behind the control knob.
Unfortunately I do not have the repair manual or the schematics for this specific model.
If you call the phone number listed on the owner manual you can order a copy of the service manual, with all schematics and diagrams for your model. Sure that will be a great help.
