Hi,

Pls try:

  • Start, Run, type "msconfig" less the quotes;
  • in the System Configuration window, pls click on the Startup tab;
  • un-check any instance of Blueyonder and/or related files/dependencies;
  • click on Apply, OK, Reboot.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

My pc constantly says insert system disk and press enter,I have changed the hard disk still it won't boot.what am I to do?

Hi Sommy

It's asking for your original Windows install disk because it wants to install a driver or some other software.
This doesn't make sense....
You have changed the hard disk..... did you install MS Windows on it? Thats why it won't boot.....

Good Luck

I have a Product Key Number for Windows XP Home Premium and wish to install it.

If you have the CD for Windows XP then you should just insert the disc and begin installation, upon installation they will ask for a product key. If you do not have the CD you can always go onto www.Windows.com and they will have a download for Windows XP, Download it and it will ask for an product key.

Window failed to start. Asking for window installation disc asking for the prompt repair your computer I dont have the instalation disc. Advice

You may check for the partition in the computer. Or the best available option is to insert any windows operating system disc and select the option repair the system. This will not format the harddrive and Operating System missing files will be restored.

Dell Inspiron 531 gets me crazy..

hello, sounds like memory issue, I would say if you have more than one stick of memory in it remove one at a time and try it again.
also while you are at it reset BIOS by remove battery from motherboard and/or switching jumper setting.

hope it helps.

Need to do system recovery on philips freevent x53 problem damaged recovery disk

best not to use a recovery disc as they will erase alot of info, see if you can find a windows disc and use your code off your sticker, when you insert the disc, it will ask if you want to go to recovery mode, say no, go to fresh install and when it says you already have windows ask it to fix the current install, 90% of the time this works

I have just subscribed to Virgin Media. I inserted the disc....had some problems and phoned only to be told I did not need the disc. I am now obviously online but when I switch on my computer has a sign...

Try uninstalling any Virgin Media software that may have been installed when you initially put in the disc. Most of the time the computer will get an IP address directly from the modem without needing any of the ISP software.
