Question about Compaq Presario R3000 Notebook
To remove the rtc (battery) you have to in most cases remove many screws and partially strip down laptop just to locate it and depending where it is the fun doesnt end there,if youre lucky and you know what youre looking for it may be staring right at you.but if youre not too confident or unsure
about stripping pc down dont bother.I have a few programs that will clear all password fields.you have to create a startup disk and then install the program onto it then startup pc with disk in drive and let the magic begin.I can send you the file via email(attachment)all the information of how to do will be with the file.

You have to open the casing which a bit hard . the battery is situated on the laptop motherboard . you have to pull out the battery restart the machine, turn off the machine and then put back the battery back. Please let me know if you encounter any problem
