If what you say is true, you should be fine.
Where you get into trouble is having an amp of higher power than your speakers. That means you will likely blow your speakers.

Have I got to many watts for the amp, I have two 120w front, indepented sub, rear 100w,back two 40w

Hello,
Do you know how much your amp is rated for? Usually what happens when your amplifier is too under powerd to drive your speakers is that it just sounds really bad. It is usually a good idea to have more power than what your speakers require, so in your case your looking for a minimum of 260W which is really not that much.

How to do Bi wiring in 6.1

Remove the bridging links from the speaker terminals and run two equal lengths of speaker wire from the amp to the speaker. At the amp - speaker terminal, twist two of the same wires together. ( normally marked with a tracer color) Connect these into your left speaker output - terminal and tighten. Connect the two wires to both the negative terminals on the speaker. Repeat the same for the + side. Make sure wires are not shorting across the terminals.

Denon AVR-2307 Protection Circuit Activated permenantly

The speakers are 4 ohm speakers, a guy on another chat site sent me a link to the impedance curves http://www.audioholics.com/reviews/s...t-v2-fs/page-4

He agreed to that there was a mismatch as the unit has plenty of fresh air around it, plus all the speaker cables have been tested and installed correctly.

So, off to the store where I got it from tomorrow.

I have 5 spekers 15watt each one and 1 amp 60watt how can i connect them thanks

it should be connected to a not morethan 60watts amplifiers or audio system so that it will not be damage or over driven. otherwise it burns your speakers..
note: you cant connect them all together because it will lower the resistance of the speaker.meaning it will also damage your amplifiers. EX. if you connect two 8ohms speakers in paralel it will become 4ohms.. so on & so fort...

Speaker watt

Hi,

A series parallel network of four (4) 60 watts speakers would give you the same ohmage/impedance but with 240 watts capacity. Just two in parallel would give you half the ohmage/impedance but 120watts capacity or two in series would give you double the ohmage/impedance with again 120watts capacity.

Incidentally, if you bridge the power amp, you double the amp's output but only mono.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

On lucent amps you sometimes have to bridge two terminals together to make it work. i need to know what two need to be bridged.

I'm not sure if Lucent has a special bridging procedure, but on most if not all other amps, when you bridge you DON'T connect two terminals together. What you do is instead of using the plus and minus terminals on one channel to one speaker and the other +/- terminals to the other speaker, you will instead use the plus (+) terminal from one channel and the minus (-) terminal from the other channel to drive one speaker and the remaining + and - terminals remain unconnected. Be sure you use the + and - terminals that are marked for bridging. Please note, that when you bridge that your speaker load DOUBLES to EACH channel. In other words, what your amp saw as a 4 ohm speaker going to one channel alone, it now sees as a 2 ohm speaker on each channel when bridged. Be sure you know what you are doing before you bridge and fry your amp. In my experience, if after bridging your amp works fine for about a month and then fries then you bridged wrong and ended up with the wrong speaker load on each of the bridged channels. Be careful. Amps cost a lot to repair. Good luck.
