Login to your BIS account from website and resend your service books.

If you have not created user name then the only way you can use the interface is directly from your BB which you can not do because its not browsing inthe first place. In this case call your helpline and ask them to resend your service books.

As far as the maps is concerned, i guess you did not check it while upgrading. install just this component usingdesktop manager.

Thanks

There is application called Jlcmder use it to erase all the application from your phone. After Wiping the the device will reboot to a white screen with a '507' error. Then connect your device with desktop manager to have a clean install of OS 4.5.

Click this link for knowing details about OS Upgradation.

Dropping calls and rebooting, or the screen going black and needing to have the battery removed and reinserted before it will boot up and work again is a known problem with this model.

It would seem that the unit can use an operating system (OS) upgrade. If you've owned this unit for a long time and have never upgraded the OS, try upgrading it to see if the problem gets resolved.

Go to your service provider's internet site...AT&T, Verizon, ROGERS, BELL etc and look for the support tab for your device...in this case BlackBerry. Surf to the model and see if they have an upgrade to the OS. You can check what your version is by clicking on the OPTIONS (wrench) icon and clicking on ABOUT. You will see the model of your device and a number following a v, ie v4.6.0.282. If your version is older, you'll need to upgrade the device via the DESKTOP MANAGER application that came with the unit when you bought it...or pull the application down from your service provider.

First download and install the updated version on your pc. Next, run the desktop manager application. Connect your BlackBerry via the USB cable to your pc...the desktop manager application should scan the device and notify you that the OS can be upgraded. Follow the prompts to update the OS.

Caution though. If you are not comfortable performing the upgrade, you should be able to call your service provider's customer assistance line and have them walk you through the procedure over the phone.

Good-luck.

Cheers!

My Blackberry Curve 8310 was fine this morning when i sent a text but a few minutes later it shut off and wont turn on. There are no lights blinking or anything happening at all and it is not out of charge

This is a known problem and one of the fixes to try is to upgrade the operating system. In the meantime, pulling the battery out and re-inserting it should get the device booting again. You'll most likely notice that the battery has somehow gone low. You'll need to recharge the battery...either through the AC adapter or the USB cable. Upgrade the OS. Contact your service provider if you have questions on how to perform the upgrade. They should be able to talk you through it with step-by-step instructions.

Cheers!

Download the newest firmware upgrade from Blackberry. In addition to a couple of new apps (movie mode and voice recorder), it should take care of your problem. Of course, this is all free.

this error occures when you are trying to access the secured sites, Blackberry does not support the secured ( https) sites. As you are a Enterprise user you can get in touch with your BES admin who would be able to help.
