Question about Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
Thank you for the clarifiaction it seems that you cannot uninstall IE in Vista, but you can disable it. If you go to the control panel, and double click on "default Programs" the last of four options will be "Set Program Accesses and Computer Defaults". Tell the User Account Control prompt to "continue", then click the radio-button by the "custom" option, and then hit the expand arrows to the far left, it'll take you to a bunch of options. the first is "Choose a default web browser". If you [i]un-check]/i] the box by Internet Explorer, you will pretty much only be able to access it through the "run" prompt, if at all, and no third-party programs will open links in IE.
hope it helps!
