Question about Acer TravelMate 2300 Notebook
I'm fairly sure that means it is trickle charging as my laptop does. Don't worry too much about it. It actually helps the battery have a longer life span. Another thing it may be however is that there could be an issue with the AC adapter possibly not giving off enough voltage but still enough to keep everything going. (so within 0.05volts)

SOURCE: Battery Problem
This usually indicates a battery or motherboard (charging related) problem. I would call Acer Customer Service and seek their advice. If under warranty still, you will be able to get a replacement.
You will need your Acer serial number handy - this can be found on an Acer sticker, usually on the bottom of the laptop. You can reach their Technical Support (Australia) line at:
Technical support - 1300 365 100 Hardware Technical Support & Troubleshooting. Operating hours: Monday to Friday: 8am - 7pm (AEST) Saturday: 9am - 5pm (AEST)
If you are elsewhere in the World you will find the contact details here:
