Question about HP PSC 1110 All-In-One Thermal Printer
Hi. I have a PSC 1110 for more than 2 years and had no problem using it. It was mostly used for scanning / copying as the main printing is done on a Laserjet.
I ran out of cartridges and waited a long time to buy new ones - 3 months.
When I installed the new cartridges (HP original) the printer started behaving in a strange way. All the lights start blinking including the orange ones - for paper and cartridges. The carridge carraige stays parked in the left side.
Any idea what the problem is?
IF YOU GO TO THE HP SITE AND PLUG IN YOUR MODEL NUMBER THERE IS INFORMATION THE ON HOW TO RESET HP PRINTERS. THE FLASHING LIGHTS ARE THE SAME AS AN ERROR WARNING AND YOUR PRINTER MAY JUST NEED TO BE RESET. I KNOW ON A 1300 SERIES IT WAS A COMBINATION OF HITTING THE ON SWITCH AND THE PAPER SIZE SWITCH ON STARTUP, AND WAITING FOR THE LIGHTS TO TURN SOLID. YOU SHOULD FIND YOUR RESET ONLINE. HP IS PRETTY GOOD WITH THEIR ONLINE MANUALS, AND YOU CAN PLUG THE FAULT INTO THE SEARCH BLOCK AND IT WILL PUT YOU INTO THE TROUBLESHOOTING PAGES.
