Is the fan at the condenser side is included in the fans that you checked?.
if it is running and compressor is running, no frost at the evaporator, i believe you either had a leak ( no refrigerant) or the capillary tube clogged ( this second option is least likely to happen but it could happen.

both solution would require qualified tech to service the refrigerator.

seems to me by the frost that the inside fan is not blowing air across the cooling radiator (evaporator), due to ice build up impeding air flow or the fan motor stalls or not working a t all. Defrost timer should also be checked if the air flows thru inside the fridge.

Many of frost-free fridges use fans to move a controlled amount of air into the upper or side cooling chamber, check for non-working fan or a stuck or malfunctioning damper control. Keith L.

MY WHIRLPOOL ED5VHGXMB11 DOES NOT DEFROST.

If there is no cooling at all on the fridge section but the freezer works then it is confirmed that the compressor and gas pressure is OK. Now shut off the fridge and leave it powered off while you clean and check the evaporator for frost. If frost is seen it is a good indication as the compressor is working with sufficient gas within.
Now after about 6 hours plug in the fridge to start. Observe cooling to happen in about one hour and ice to from under three hours.
Earlier make sure that the thermostat was set to normal mode for freezer and fridge.
However if ice forms in the freezer then observe the fridge for about 24 hours for cooling to continue and the fridge to cut off . If not the auto defrost timer, or the thermostat must be checked. Frost formation without defrosting could block the air flow and so shut the air passage to the fridge. Also the blower fan must work and if this is not working then the fan can be faulty. Also a fault on the control unit is a suspect to non functioning of any one of these components.
If defrost timer works but frost keeps forming check while the compressor shuts if the heaters are working, check continuity of the heaters.
So try this test using a multi-meter on the defrost timer and the thermostat and make your observations so that we come to the solution.

The fridge side is not cooling,in the top left side there is a vent no air is coming thru, until freezer door is opened.fan is working acts like it is starving for air but i dont where it gets its air from...

can be that the frost has blocked the intake and choking the fan from blowing to the vent.
You must look into the fan vent section and see if the assembly can be taken out to probe into . Usually this is a latch on that can come but may be tight due to frost. So switch off the fridge and allow it to cool off maybe 8 hours so that all frost comes off.Now restart and check if the cooling returns to the fridge. If so open and check or look below the fridge at the bottom for the auto defrost timer to be a suspect.

My freezer is working but fridge has stopped any ideas in what could be wrong. The coils where dirty I have cleaned them..

Does this unit just have one thermostat? is this a frost free unit? does the cooling for the fridge come from the freezer side compartment via internal fans, if so are they working?

well done on cleaning the coils by the way, did you notice the fans down there running and latent heat being dispersed? (FROM COIL)

Fridge and freezer not cold enough since we moved

remove the panel at the reaar of the freezer. you should have a full frost pattern on your evaporator (frosted not snow packed) and the fan should be running. if you do not have a full frost pattern then you have a sealed system leak. covered under the first five years of your warranty
