Question about Nokia 3315 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Which battery-brand is better? or which makes the problem, the battery or the charger?

Actually.. My phone's battery bars deflates to 1 bar after being charged.. I have not used my cellphone while charging (it's a safety rule).. And i thought maybe that the charger has also something to do with it (turning off the fast lowering of the 1 bar and the turning off of the cellphone)... I tried a lot of batteries and chargers... but the same thing happens.. by the way, i think i used the Thailand batteries.. but i don't know what the battery of my grandfather was because it does not lower down fast and turn off immediately.. maybe it was China's but how will i solve this..... Is it that the cellphone is the one having the problem?

VSI & VR2 Joystick error flash codes:
1 RED BAR:
Low Battery Voltage The battery is flat (more likely).
Or the battery has a bad connection (which is unlikely)
2 RED BARS: Left Motor Disconnected The left motor is disconnected. Check all the connections for physical disconnection or corrosion or burning usually caused by the salt poured onto the roads every winter.
3 RED BARS: Left Motor Wiring Trip The left motors wiring has a short circuit. Check all connections and leads for wear and chafing between the left motor and the battery cables or chassis
4 BARS: Right Motor Disconnected The right motor is disconnected. Check all the connections for physical disconnection or corrosion or burning usually caused by the salt poured onto the roads every winter.
5 BARS: Right Motor Wiring Trip The right motors wiring has a short circuit. Check all connections and leads for wear and chafing between the right motor and the battery cables or chassis
6 BARS: Activated if you turn on your wheelchair with an external device like the Charger still connected.
7 BARS: Possible Joystick Trip, Make sure that the joystick is in the centre position before switching on. If you still get this when switching on then joystick is probably faulty.
8 BARS: A control system trip. Make sure that all connections are secure and if so the power module or control pod is probably faulty. Test by substitution of known good one.
9 BARS: The parking brakes have a bad connection or have a failed solenoid, or any lever or switches that disconnect drive for pushing the chair manually may be pulled or switched.
10 BARS: Over voltage detected. This can happen with a bad battery connection although unlikely. More likely your battery charger is faulty and is overcharging your batteries quite severely.
1 BAR to 10 BARS and back in a "ripple" every few seconds. Joystick not cantered when turned on. Switch off and try again.
1 BAR to 6 FLASH every few seconds. System Asleep. Switch off and back on. Time before sleep can be adjusted or disabled in programming

Hope this helps, If so please click the "Yes" button

There are 3 solutions to your problem.
1) You need to replace your phone's battery, or
2) You need to replace your charger. (If you have a car charger, try it to determine if your home charger is the problem) or
3) you need to have the charging plug on your phone repaired; it will need to be sent in for service.

When charging the phone, the battery icon flashes off and on and the phone make a sound is it charging properly

hello,
it is not supposed to make any sound when charging, if it does it means there is a problem somewhere.
it is not charging properly. try to turn off the phone and plug the charger. its supposed to bring up a light the show the battery meter and show it charging bar by bar, if it doesn't come up this way, try using the same charger on another phone to see if the charger is working. anything you detect, try to replace the battery and try again.

Lg ks360 battery problem,, charge it up fully and battery dies in 2 hours my phone is dead in the morning when i left it the night before with only one bar of the battery down. What can i do to solve this...

Im not sure if this goes for phones...
But I noticed that when you get something with a charger and you seem to over-charge it (Leaving it constantly plugged in or charging it for long periods of time after its fully charged) it actually makes the life of the object shorter....

It could be that because you've been leaving it over night to charge its been eating at the LGs battery...

But like I said, im not sure...
Obviously you can't fix something like that...

Phone Switches off on its own, even though the battery is new

DOES IT SHOW FULL BATTERY POWER on the DISPLAY?

If it does, the phone device itself could be broken - take steps to get it replaced.

If it doesn't - if it's not the battery, it's the charger. Try a different charger - make sure while it's plugged in - the display shows that the charger is charging it, blinking - or bars going up or down, or a thunderbolt on the display etc. It could still be the battery - there are such things as OUT OF THE BOX FAILURES, where you get a dud for a battery.

All in all, trade someone for their battery, or their charger - if you dont wanna buy one at first. See if the problem follows your old battery etc.. Buying a battery or charger is usually like $5 on ebay, so that's much better than replacing the phone.

Charging

You should charge the battery (on the first charge) for 18-24 hours. They 'initializes' the ions in the battery.
A way to fix this if you didn't do this the first time is to drain the battery entirely and charge the battery on the WALL SOCKET for 24-48 hours.
Otherwise try a new charger or cable, if its none of these. Its the battery. If you are still in Warranty (1 year) or AppleCare (3 years), take it to any Genius Bar in any Apple Store

Trouble staying powerd

It could be the battery(a dead cell in it) or the charger. If you use a lot of applications like music. im, navigator, web, that eats up the battery. have verizon test the battery.

Odds are that the battery is bad. It is possible the charger is bad, but batteries are the problem 90% of the time.

Charging problems

I had the same problem. Take the back off your phone and push down on the battery (the same way you would to install the sim card) so it slides down to make better contact with the battery contacts. I had the same problem and ended up taking a thin piece of paper and sliding it between the battery and the tab at the top of the phone that holds the battery in tight to the contacts.
