Question about Televison & Video
The easiest test to determine which is defective (TV or receiver) is to replace the receiver temporarily with another audio/video source such as a DVD player, even an old VCR or a video camera. This is assuming that the sat receiver is connected to the TV using yellow, red & white RCA connectors. Additionally, some models/versions of these TVs show a blinking light if and when it has detected an internal fault.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
