Question about Televison & Video
Initially, it would be suggested to do a manual cleaning of the laser/lens with the use of cotton buds or a CD disc cleaner. Additionally, you could try blowing compressed air inside to force dust and other foreign materials out. If at all visible, the laser eye normally sits on a cradle that slides along an elongated pin. This tends to get jammed when the lubricant cakes or gums up. You could also try cleaning this and re-lubricate.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
