HE3 Washer just keeps beeping at me when I push the start button
This has happened a few times, but then ends up working after a little while. When I push the start button on my washing machine it beeps and make clicking sounds. I tried to take the front panel off to see if I could reset it or if something was loose but couldn't get it all the way off. Any ideas before I call for a repair man?

Unplug the machine for at least half an hour to eliminate the possibility of an electronic glitch. Then upon plugging in back, close the door then push CONTROL/ON (if present on this model). Select the DRAIN/SPIN cycle then select NO SPIN by pressing the SPIN SPEED button. Push PREWASH OPTION four times within five seconds. If PREWASH OPTION is not present on this model, press EXTRA RINSE four times within five seconds. C:00 will light up on the display. If the Starting procedure fails, push the PAUSE/CANCEL button then repeat the starting procedure.
In order to advance to the next step of the test procedure, push PREWASH OPTION button two times. If PREWASH OPTION is not present on this model, press EXTRA RINSE two times. The test program goes from C:00 to C:08 and should flash an error code when a problem is present. Post the code back for further troubleshooting, including the exact model number of the machine.
its a bad contact at the ccu(main control board located at the top of the unit). just remove top panel by unscrewing the 3 screws in back of top panel. the ccu is located in back right in the center of unit. replace the ccu. what happens is the contacts from the ccu are welded inside, so they must of broken off by vibrations of time. replacing the door lock will not help. replace the ccu and you should be good to go.
Check you door latch. When you open the door, there should be a black square hole on the frame and a black round hole above it with a pin sticking out. The pin is probably broken off and the door latch assembly needs to be replaced.
