Question about HP Office Equipment & Supplies
C5100 is wireless. Will print, but wont scan. I get message saying it can't find printer. I have downloaded new software... a new driver... nothing
I have an HP all-in-one, although not wireless, the programs are similiar. In order to scan, you have to open the HP Essential program and look for the "Get images" selection on the left side of the screen. With that selection, you will be presented with several options, one being "from scanner". This will activate the process, assuming all things are connected and powered up. Also assuming that you have installed, this very useful and easy to use, set of programs HP provides with their printers. If you have any further difficulty, let me know and I will be glad to assist where I can. Good luck!
