8,001.44 Cap/Wipe/Purge assembly can't find home position:
This error usually shows up if the machine isn't turned off properly. The C/W/P assembly keeps the printhead clean, and if it is in a cleaning cycle when the power goes off, it will stick to the printhead, which makes it difficult for the motor to move it to home position.
Printhead and C/W/P are located directly under the ink loader (where you put in the cubes of ink). The gears to move the C/W/P are on the RH top of the frame and you should be able to move the assembly up and down by hand (with the power off, of course !) Move the C/W/P all the way to the bottom, reassemble the covers and see if the error goes away.

I think I had this error once. Could be your bulbs (one or both) are out or are on their way out. I had to replace mine. They are 150 watt halogen bulbs. When you open it up, do you see lights on the side peering in?
Verify process motor operation with the Process Motor diagnostic
test. Also exercise processes run with the process motor;
transfix, drum maintenance and head tilt. This can be caused by
the power control board. The process motor may have more than
one task initiated. Reset all solenoids and the pressure roller
prior to cycling power.
That code means the drum heaters are not working. The good news is, yes you can fix it yourself. The drum heaters are 2, 150 watt halogen lamps. One or both of them have blown out. If you want drop me an E-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org I will send you instructions how to replace them. It would take 1 to 1 1/2 hours if you have never done it before. Lowes, Home Depot or any place that sells halogen lamps would have them. I however, do highly recommend, if you can find them. Sylvania halogen lamps rated for 130 volts and have vibration protection. They cost slightly more, but well worth it. Besides even if you get those, you have less than $15 in the repair. Let me know, I will send you the info. That's all your problem is.
15,004.45: TCD_THERMISTOR_ SLOW Most likely cause is a failed drum heater. The head to drum gap should only be checked or adjusted on the Phaser 840. The Phaser 850, 860, and 8200 have a pre-adjusted head.

There are 2,,, 150 watt Halogen lamps that heat the drum. The way to see if they are working or not is to turn off the lights in the office or room the printer is in. Turn the machine on and look through the fan slots on the right side of the machine. GIve it a minute or two and you should see lamps glowing inside, ( I seriously doubt you will see them comming on).
That is a very common problem, You can purchase those lamps at Lowes, Home Depot or anywhere you can purchase halogen lamps. They cost about 12 dollars for a good pair. Replace both .. If you want to try and do it yourself. Let me know I will send you directions.
