Question about Intuit QuickBooks: Pro 2005 for PC
Computer had virus. Rebuilt got rid of virus. Reinstall Quickbooks 2005 does not support new version of flashplayer 7, can this be resolved
Copy the msi file from the cd for flashplayer 7
Paste it on your desktop and run it. (you may still need to download the newest install file and run it before hand)
After you run the msi file for flashplayer 7
Restart the installation

When you say rebuilt and got rid of the virus, was that a system restore?
Often the viruses do an extensive amount of damage in certain areas, and unfortunatley, QuickBooks and it's dependent files are often trashed to the point of not working correctly.
My best suggestion would be to backup any data you want to save to a cd or dvd, then run a FULL system restore. This wipes the hard drive, and resets it to the specs from the factory. Then reinstall your programs and allow them to update.
It is a pain, but it is often the only way to fully recover from a virus.
