I'm malaysian n i just bought a ipod last week. I can ply with my mp3 song but can't play my mp4 video, so why.....????? plzzzz help me. isn't it ve other format for those ipod or the converter problem????
Go to Google.com, Type in VIDEO CONVERTER, And install the one you find best. An Ipod is an MP3 player so it wont play MP4. I am getting the 4th or 5th Gen. Ipod and my sis has that ipod. That should do the Trick!

that is because the songs have not been transferred to your ipod yet....connect your ipod to your pc....open itunes.....select all songs from your music library and drag them to your ipod icon....the songs will start getting transferred....therafter you can listen them on your ipod too....
sounds like you need a new hard drive, which has a little read-write disk in it that is getting finicky... just to get more use out of it lay it on side or other positions and hear if works ok...if so its diffently Hard drive.
you know the sandisks are 2 gigs no moving parts why doesnt somebody put 20 together making 40 gigs and replace the failing Ipods!!??? just pure electronics and no moving parts and much smaller...not like a hard drive. I thought of this over 30 years ago looking at the first plug in video game.
