Question about Acer Aspire 5100 Notebook
Hey there Sash Marie,
I suggest you leave the mouse plugged in, and turn off your computer completely. Wait a couple of minutes and restart. Upon restarting it should rescan for all connected peripherals, and get things going. Alternately, if you are running vista, your mouse may not be vista compliant. Also there is the chance your mouse is faulty. I suggest you rule this out by plugging into another machine to test if it works.
Good luck and let me know howit goes.
